Krishna Mukherjee, known for her role as Aliya in the TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has married her boyfriend Chirag Batliwalla, a cruise ship deck officer, in a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony in Goa.
The couple shared several adorable pictures from their nuptials on Instagram, including one of them sitting in a mandap post-sunset with the beach in the background. Krishna donned a red and white lehenga with pearl and Kundan jewelry, while Chirag wore a white kurta and dhoti with a topor, a traditional Bengali headgear for grooms.
Krishna Mukherjee made her television debut with the show Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story and rose to fame with her role as Aliya on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She has also appeared in the show Naagin 5. Krishna announced her engagement with Chirag in December 2021 and shared pictures from their trip to Manali. Many of her co-stars from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, including Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, and Arjit Taneja, attended the engagement ceremony.
After the wedding ceremony, Krishna shared several pictures from the event on her Instagram account. The pictures show the couple exchanging garlands, performing traditional rituals, and enjoying the beautiful sunset on the beach.
