Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is all set to reprise his role as Tyler Rake in the sequel to the action-packed Netflix film, Extraction. The first movie, which was directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo, had an international cast, including Indian actors Priyanshu Painyuli, Randeep Hooda, and Pankaj Tripathi, in significant roles.
The teaser for Extraction 2, which promises to be an action thriller, was recently released by the makers. Unlike typical teasers, which reveal certain parts of the movie, the Extraction 2 teaser showcases a small section of what appears to be an extraction sequence, with Hemsworth fighting his way through an army to rescue Kutaisi Staff (played by Sinead Phelps) from prison.
The second part of the story picks up where the first film left off, with Tyler Rake falling into a coma for nine months before joining the Australian black ops for another dangerous mission. This time, his objective is to rescue the abused family of a cruel Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.
Extraction 2 promises to be just as action-packed and thrilling as its predecessor, with Hemsworth once again taking on the lead role of Tyler Rake. Fans of the first movie are eagerly anticipating this sequel and cannot wait to see what new challenges await the character in this high-stakes adventure.
