Bollywood fans have been eagerly anticipating the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster movie, War. However, when reports of Ayan Mukerji being roped into Helm War 2 hit headlines, fans were curious about the absence of director Siddharth Anand from the project.
It seems that Anand had bigger plans in the pipeline, as he has been recently announced as the director for Yash Raj Films’ upcoming spy action-thriller, Tiger vs Pathaan.
According to reports, Tiger vs Pathaan will bring together the iconic duo of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in a full-fledged film, over 30 years after the release of their hit movie Karan Arjun. The two Khans, who were born less than two months apart in 1965, will celebrate their diamond birthdays in 2025, which is the same year when Tiger vs Pathaan is slated for release.
Currently, in the scripting stage, Tiger vs Pathaan will go on floors only after Siddharth Anand wraps up his ongoing project, Fighter, which is an aerial action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan. Fans are excited to see how Anand will bring the two Khans together on the big screen and what kind of action-packed adventure awaits them.
